At around 4 am yesterday (December 30) officers stationed at the Grace Bay Police Station received a report of a vessel being stolen from Leeward, Providenciales.
The description of the vessel given to officers was- a white Baha boat-, powered by Twin 250 hp outboard engines.
Today (December 31st) at 2.30 am, the Radar Station reported a suspicious vessel leaving Five Cays, Providenciales.
The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Officers attached to the Marine Unit and the Operation and Response Unit were dispatched and responded.
The vessel was intercepted and RTCIPF officers observed it fitted the description of the missing Baha boat.
Three males who were onboard the vessel were apprehended.
They remain in police custody assisting with ongoing investigations.
