The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force confirms that at approximately 12:43 pm today (30th March), a search party discovered a body along Academy Way, Providenciales.
The body was found in some bushes and is suspected to be that of 41-year-old DENROY FORBES, who was reported missing last week.
Officers actively engaged in search efforts alongside Mr. Forbes’ relatives, friends, and loved ones this morning. The TCI Regiment was also mobilized to assist.
We extend our deepest condolences to Mr. Forbes’ family and friends during this difficult time.
This remains an active matter as we await the results of an autopsy to ascertain the cause of death formally.
The RT&CIPF urges members of the public to come forward with any information that may assist in our investigation.
If you were among the last to see Mr. Forbes or noticed anything suspicious, no matter how small, we encourage you to contact the police immediately. Any piece of information could be crucial in determining the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and death.
