The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force is actively investigating a series of armed robberies on the evening of March 6, 2025, in the Five Cays area of Providenciales. 

Incident 1 – Vehicle Robbery on Robinson Street 

At approximately 8:48 pm, a male was approached by two armed males who robbed him of his vehicle. No shots were fired, and the victim was not injured. The stolen vehicle was later recovered by responding officers. 

Incident 2 – Carjacking in Residence Yard 

At approximately 9:10 pm, a male victim was approached by two armed males announcing a robbery. The victim was robbed of his silver Honda Fit. While fleeing, the suspects struck the victim with the vehicle, causing injuries to his leg.  

Incident 3 – Robbery of Rental Vehicle in T-Remy Yard 

At 9:31 pm, another robbery report was lodged. Three persons were robbed at gunpoint. The suspects stole a white rental vehicle and fled in an unknown direction. Officers responded;  however, the suspects were not found. 

Incident 4 – Armed Robbery at Local Store 

While officers were investigating the previous robberies, a female victim reported that she had been robbed at gunpoint inside a store on Robinson Street. The suspect pointed a handgun at her and demanded money, which she handed over. No injuries were reported.
