The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force is awaiting confirmation on the identity of a male who lost his life in a vehicular incident yesterday (November 27th, 2024) evening.
Initial reports state that shortly after 9 pm, the Police Control Room received a report of a motor vehicle accident along Leeward Highway, Providenciales, near the 7-Eleven Store.
Officers and medical personnel were dispatched, and the victim was rushed to the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre.
Despite efforts to resuscitate the victim, he succumbed to injuries.
The RT&CIPF wishes to express condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased and assures the public that the Traffic Enforcement Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the cause of this motor vehicle incident.
