Officers from the Community Policing Unit of the Royal Turk and Caicos Islands Police Force visited the Bethany Baptist Church, Providenciales, to engage in impactful sessions on conflict resolution.
The Youth Session was hosted by former Premier and Youth Director of the Church Sharlene Cartwright-Robinson and occurred on February 16th.

Officers -Sgt Huntley Forbes Jr, Constables Teran Spence, Sherika Williams, Krishauna Williams and Special Constable Teddy Stewart engaged students in open dialogue and shared practical strategies for peacefully resolving conflicts.

Through interactive discussions and real-life scenarios, students gained valuable insights into communication, empathy, and de-escalation techniques.
The dangers of gang affiliation and the violence associated with becoming gang members were also discussed at length, with officers urging students to remain focused and always place God first.
