An additional restriction was also placed on all businesses to cease operations by 8:00 p.m. daily.

Commissioner of Police, Trevor Botting said, “We are also committed to protecting the health of communities during this pandemic so you will see a police response and you will get stopped if you are breaking curfew. Of course, this curfew does not apply to those in the hotel industry transferring to and from work. However, we will be taking a zero-tolerance approach; tickets will be issued and persons will be arrested in some circumstances. The citations apply to individuals and businesses”. Commissioner Botting in encouraging residents added, “Please comply with the curfew restrictions. Work with us and help us to protect you.”
