The financial offences case against LOFTON MORLEY JR. has been adjourned to 4 April  2025 for a Sufficiency Hearing. 

Morley Jr, 37, appeared in court on 25 February to respond to the following charges: 

* 28 counts of Theft of a Chose in Action  

* 25 counts of Use of Criminal Property  

The accused remains on bail of $100,000 with the following stipulated conditions: 

• Surrender of travel documents  

• Not to leave the country without the Court’s permission  

• Report to the Chalk Sound Police Station at a specified time and date. 

These charges arise from a criminal complaint filed in August 2022 by a Providenciales-based hotel. 

Following investigations by the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF)  Financial Crime Unit, the accused was charged.
