Homicide detectives are actively probing another homicide that occurred yesterday (February  16) in Kew Town. 

Shortly after 11.37 pm, officers responded to a report of gunshots being heard at Musgrove  Close, Kew Town. Having arrived at the scene, officers observed a male lying on the ground motionless. The deceased has been identified as CLAYTON MORRIS. The Royal Turks and  Caicos Islands Police Force extends condolences to the family and friends of Mr Morris. 

Mr Morris’ death is the second recorded homicide to have occurred over the weekend.  

On February 15, the Police Control Room received reports of gunshots being heard at Ralph  Close, Blue Hills. Upon arrival at the scene, officers observed a male lying motionless on the ground with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The male has since been identified as  RENAL JEAN. Investigations have revealed that Mr. Jean, 34, of Haiti, was residing illegally in the TCI. 

Discharge of Firearm Incident 

On the evening of February 16, 2025, at approximately 8:00 pm, reports were received of gunshots being heard at Horseshoe Lane, The Bight.  

An All-Points Bulletin (APB) was issued, and a team of officers was dispatched to the scene, where they encountered two males with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Both victims were rushed for medical treatment.
