Officers of the Serious Crime Unit of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force have charged 20-year-old JOSIAH PARFAIT.
Mr Parfait’s arrest and charge came following reports of a shooting incident and attempted robbery reported to the Police on Saturday, 25th November 2023.
The incident occurred in Bible Street, Blue Hills, Providenciales.
Mr Parfait appeared in court on December 05th and was remanded in custody pending a sufficiency hearing on February 02nd, 2024.
Mr Parfait, of Dock Yard, Providenciales, faces the following charges:
1) Assault with Intent to Rob,
2) Possession of Firearm,
3) Possession of Ammunition,
4) Discharging Firearm, and
5) Discharging Ammunition.
The charges against Mr Parfait were laid on Friday, 01 December 2023.
