Who We Are
The Human Resources Team works to make sure that the RT&CIPF recruits, trains, and develops a diverse, skilled, and healthy workforce, which can respond to the unique challenges of policing and reflect the changing communities within the Turks and Caicos Islands.
The Human Resources Team also provides essential support to ensure that the Organization maximizes the effectiveness of its workforce. This contributes to the performance of the Force, helping us to build trust and confidence in our communities and reduce crime and disorder.
What We Do
The services that the HR Team provides:
HR Services
Provide professional advice, guidance, and coaching covering all aspects of people management. HR Services also covers Occupational Health and Wellbeing and Health and Safety.
HR Business Services
HR Business Services consists of the HR Service Centre, the Management Information Team, and HR Business Support.
Resourcing
Responsible for Duties Management, Police Officer Recruitment, Police Support Volunteers (Band, Cadets), and Workforce Planning.
HR Change
Responsible for the HR Processes in relation to Change Management, HR Policy Development, and Reward Management.
Learning and Development/ Training
Learning and Development are responsible for every aspect of training our workforce to ensure it is fit to meet the demands of modern-day policing.
