BRIAN ALEXANDER FRANCIS, 29, was found guilty on December 18th of the murder of  Justin COX-BECKLES.  

Mr Francis has been remanded in custody pending sentencing scheduled for January 07th, 2025. 

Based on the evidence presented to the court, on Sunday, 24th July 2022, the Police Command  Centre received a report that there was a male who had received a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was bleeding at Rock Plaza, Millennium Highway, Providenciales, TCI.  

The victim was transported to the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre (CHMC), where he succumbed to his injuries.  

The victim was later identified as Justin Cox-Beckles of South Caicos. 

As a result, a murder investigation commenced. 

On 26th July 2022, Mr Francis, a mechanic by trade who resides at South Dock Road,  Providenciales, was arrested and cautioned for suspicion of the murder of Mr Beckles. 

On 4th August 2022, Mr. Francis was charged with the following offences: ∙ Murder of Justin Cox-Beckles,
