The Royal Turks and Caicos Police Force officers are currently at the scene of a double murder in Dock Yard.
Initial reports at this time indicate, at around 6.57 am today (01st November), multiple calls were placed to the Police Control Room that two adults – male and female, along with a child were bleeding heavily from gunshot wounds in Dock Yard.
RTCIPF officers arrived where they found the lifeless bodies of the adults. The child was alive and taken for medical attention.
Commissioner of Police Trevor Botting who is at the scene said: “The callous actions of these criminals have left a child seriously injured and two people dead. My officers are working assiduously to catch the perpetrators of this heinous act. Based on intelligence information received thus far, the actions have been confined to the Dock Yard district of the TCI. This incident is contained and there is no immediate danger to other people. I am once again urging people who know anything about either attack to tell us or use CrimeStoppers to tell us what you know.”
