A male from Five Cays was arrested on Monday, March 3, 2025, during an operation led by the Serious Crime Unit of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force and has now been charged with three serious offences.
GEORGE THOMAS ARTHUR Jr, 48, of Reece Street, Five Cays, is expected to appear before a Magistrate next week facing charges of:
• One Count – Conspiracy to Commit Murder
• Two Counts – Possession of a Firearm
Mr Arthur, known as “Blocks”, is alleged to have conspired to murder GUILENE JEAN BAPTISTE.
Mr. Baptiste, 26, of Dock Yard, was shot dead on August 2, 2023.
After intensive investigations, officers approached the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, and following consultations, the charges were proffered.
