17-YEAR-OLD CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED BURGLARY 

Detectives of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police  Force have arrested a 17-year-old male of Blue Hills, Providenciales, for the Offence of  Aggravated Burglary. 

According to reports, on Tuesday, October 19th, 2021, he entered a home along Bay Road, Blue  Hills, armed with a knife, demanded two HP laptops, and made good of his escape. 

The 17-year-old is scheduled to appear in Court on November 1st, 2021, to answer the said charge. 

The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force expressed thanks to the community for their assistance in this arrest. 

WOMAN CHARGED WITH UTTERING FORGED DOCUMENTS 

Partner agency, Immigration Department reported to the Special Branch Unit of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force that Juana Venura Cruz, who travelled from the Dominican  Republic on Friday, October 22nd, 2021, presented fraudulent documents at the Providenciales  International Airport. 

Cruz had a fraudulent TCI Travel Authorization form and a Dominican Republic Vaccination Card. 

52-year-old Cruz was subsequently arrested, taken into custody, and formally charged on  Tuesday, October 26th, 2021, for the Offence of Uttering Forged Documents. She appeared in  Court on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021, where the matter was adjourned.
