A 34-year-old Five Cays, Providenciales man has been charged with setting fire to Aziza Bar, Restaurant and Lounge.
The accused, Bernard Miguel Colebrooke, faces three charges:
- TWO counts of Setting Fire to other buildings and
- One count of Malicious injuries to property.
Colebrooke was charged by detectives of the Criminal Investigations Department of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force. He is expected to appear before a Magistrate on April 24th, 2023.
The charges stemmed from an August 31st 2022, incident, where it is alleged that Colebrooke and another unknown male entered Aziza Bar and set it on fire.
Officers responded and following investigations, arrested and subsequently charged Colebrooke.
