Detectives of the Serious Crime Unit of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force have formally charged MERVIN JOSEPH.
Joseph, 24, also known as “Mac 10,” of Dock Yard, Kew Town, Providenciales, is charged with murdering PETERSON CAMPBELL.
Campbell, 22, was fatally shot along Reece Street, Five Cays, on September 30, 2022.

Following 30 months of intensive investigations, and in consultation with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), officers formally charged the accused with:
∙ Murder, contrary to Section 3 of the Offences Against the Person Act, Chapter 3.08 ∙ Robbery, contrary to Section 10 (1) of The Theft Act, Chapter 3.10
Joseph was officially charged on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
He has been remanded in custody until June 6, 2025, when a sufficiency hearing will be held.
