A 59-year-old visitor, MARK CLAYTON HEBB, has appeared before a Magistrate after being charged with Dangerous Driving.
Mr. Hebb pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted $5,000 cash bail with one surety. The case has been adjourned to March 24 for further proceedings.
The charge stems from an incident on February 28th on Sandcastle Drive, near the entrance of IGA Gourmet supermarket in Grace Bay, where Mr Hebb allegedly collided with a 58-year-old pedestrian while driving.
The pedestrian received initial medical attention before being airlifted to New York for further treatment.
